Fox + Spindle & Trove Consultants on letting Georgia pick up part of the training tab.
If your Georgia-based employees are learning AI, new software, new technologies, or new equipment, some of what you're already spending on training may qualify for the Georgia Retraining Tax Credit.
And it’s substantial: the credit can cover up to 50% of eligible training costs, up to $1,250 per employee per year, and businesses of any size can participate.
Why are we talking about tax credits? We know Fox + Spindle isn’t cheap. That doesn’t mean it has to be expensive.
This Salon is for Georgia businesses that are investing in their employees’ skills, whether that means bringing in an outside trainer, offering online or self-paced training, teaching people on the job, or rolling out a new technology across the company. Business size isn’t the deciding factor. What matters is what you’re teaching, whom you’re teaching, and how the training is structured.
It may also be easier to pursue than you think. These projects usually require only a few hours from the client team, while Trove handles much of the documentation, coordination, and approval process.
For our October Salon, we’ve invited Trove Consultants to discuss your real-world opportunities and provide live answers to your questions:
Does the training we're already doing qualify?
Which employees and costs are eligible?
Could an AI or software rollout count?
What documentation is required?
How much could our company recover?
As always, this is an hour-long conversation, not a lecture. Come with a question, a training program you're already running, or something you're planning next.
