THE SHORT VERSION

Company summary

Fox + Spindle is an Atlanta-based AI and digital transformation consultancy founded by Luka Anić and Jenny Nelson. We help organizations build practical AI capability, turn strategy into working solutions, and establish clear leadership and ownership for AI.

Our three core services are Coaching, Consulting, and Chief AI Office. They address different needs: helping people use AI effectively, implementing a defined business change, and providing ongoing AI leadership.

Our approach combines human judgment, creativity, responsible implementation, and business value. We consider how work gets done, what needs to improve, and whether AI belongs in the solution.

Who we help

We work with leaders and teams deciding how to use AI in their organizations.

Common reasons to bring us in include:

  • Employees have access to AI tools but need help applying them to their actual jobs.
  • Generic AI training has not translated into useful working practices.
  • A business problem has a clear destination but needs an experienced implementation partner.
  • AI initiatives are happening across departments without shared direction.
  • Leadership needs someone to own AI priorities, governance, adoption, and measurement.
  • An organization needs to understand where its AI readiness gaps are before choosing its next step.

Our law-firm offering addresses assessment, governance, training, and adoption for mid-size firms, including confidentiality and verification practices.

Our three core services

01 / COACHING

Build practical capability

Coaching helps people combine their existing expertise with AI capabilities.

The work can include role-specific coaching, leadership sessions, hands-on workshops, workflow redesign, office hours, and guided experimentation. The emphasis is on applying AI to real work while preserving the expertise and judgment that make that work valuable.

Coaching is a useful fit when people need confidence, experience, or practical support using AI. It is especially relevant when general training feels too basic or advice has not translated into action.

02 / CONSULTING

Carry a defined change into practice

Consulting helps an organization move from a business problem or strategic decision to implementation.

We learn how the work happens today, what is getting in the way, and what a good result needs to look like. We assess options, establish a direction, design an approach, test it, work through problems, and help the team put it into practice.

Consulting projects usually have a defined end state and typically last 6–12 weeks. The recommendations, technology, and support depend on the goal.

AI is introduced when it fits the workflow and the business need. A project’s purpose is the intended improvement, rather than increasing AI use for its own sake.

03 / CHIEF AI OFFICE

Establish ongoing ownership

Chief AI Office provides fractional Chief AI Officer leadership backed by a team.

We work alongside leadership to establish priorities, own the AI roadmap, evaluate tools and vendors, set governance, coordinate initiatives across departments, improve adoption, and measure results.

This service fits organizations where AI needs sustained attention but nobody internally has the time or mandate to own it. It also fits businesses whose departments are moving in different directions or that need experienced AI leadership without committing to a permanent executive hire.

How the services relate

The three services are different ways of addressing an organization’s needs. They are not a required sequence of packages.

An organization may have more than one need. The first conversation helps establish what matters now and which form of support fits.

Illustrative situations

These are examples of service fit, not client case studies or reported results.

A team has AI tools but uneven confidence.

Some employees experiment regularly while others are unsure how to begin or evaluate an answer. Coaching can help people develop working practices relevant to their roles.

A leader wants to improve a specific workflow.

The team knows where work gets stuck but needs help assessing options and implementing a change. Consulting can take that problem through design, testing, and adoption.

Several departments are pursuing AI independently.

Leadership needs a shared view of priorities, tools, responsibilities, and results. Chief AI Office can provide coordination and ongoing ownership.

A law firm cannot clearly explain its AI practices.

It needs to understand which tools people use, establish written expectations, and train attorneys in confidentiality and verification. Our law-firm offering addresses those needs through assessment, governance, and training.

AI READINESS, MEASURED

Fox + Spindle ATLAS™

ATLAS stands for AI Transformation & Learning Assessment System.

It is our AI readiness assessment. It measures three areas separately:

  • People’s capability: How prepared people are to use AI effectively.
  • Business value: Whether AI is creating value for the organization.
  • Ownership: Whether AI has clear leadership and responsibility.

Separate scores help reveal gaps that an overall average could obscure. Strength in one area does not cancel out a weakness in another.

What the assessment provides

ATLAS uses 26–33 multiple-choice questions, depending on the answers given. Initial results include a readiness stage, three headline scores, and a first priority.

The full report includes:

  • Evidence behind each score.
  • Priority risk signals.
  • A recommended 30/60/90-day roadmap.
  • Relevant Fox + Spindle service recommendations.
  • A printable executive summary.

Contact details and results

The assessment does not request a name, email address, or company during the questions. Contact details are required to receive the full report. Newsletter signup is optional and separate from receiving that report.

ATLAS is a planning aid based on the respondent’s answers. It is not a certification, an independent audit, or a determination of regulatory compliance.

AI governance and training for law firms

Our law-firm offering focuses on practical AI policy, training, and guardrails for mid-size firms.

It has three components:

  1. Assess: Understand where AI is being used and where the firm may be exposed.
  2. Govern: Establish a policy people can follow.
  3. Train and adopt: Apply AI where it helps, with verification built into the work.

Each component can stand on its own. The offering includes a 25-minute AI risk check.

Topics include awareness of the tools attorneys use, approved and prohibited uses, AI-specific training, confidentiality rules for prompts and client data, and leadership’s ability to explain the firm’s approach.

AI policy review

We offer a complimentary review of an organization’s AI policy.

The review examines where the policy holds up and where it has gaps. The submission information on our Services page explains the process, expected timing, document handling, and retention terms.

Remove client names and material covered by an NDA before submitting. If you want an NDA in place first, contact us.

Our approach to AI and transformation

The fox represents strategy: seeing opportunities and finding a sensible way forward. The spindle represents execution: turning ideas into something useful.

We bring those disciplines together through practical experimentation, transparent processes, and attention to how people work.

We believe human expertise remains central to effective AI use. Coaching develops people’s capability. Consulting connects strategic decisions to implementation. Chief AI Office establishes responsibility for decisions and results.

Technology choices and recommendations are tailored to the goal. We are willing to recommend against an AI approach when it does not fit the work.

Buyer questions

Do we need to know which engagement we want before contacting you?

No. Bring the decision, problem, or uncertainty you are working through. We can discuss the next sensible step and which kind of support fits.

How is Coaching different from a general AI course?

Our Coaching focuses on applying AI to people’s roles and existing expertise. It can include hands-on practice, workflow redesign, leadership support, and office hours.

How is Consulting different from advice alone?

Our Consulting process carries the work through design, testing, problem-solving, and adoption. Implementation is part of the engagement.

What does “fractional Chief AI Officer” mean here?

It means experienced AI leadership without hiring a permanent executive. Our Chief AI Office provides that leadership with team support behind it.

Does every engagement require new software?

Technology and recommendations depend on the goal. The engagement description on this page does not prescribe a particular platform or software purchase.

What deliverables should we expect?

Consulting has a defined end state. Coaching focuses on capability and application. Chief AI Office covers ongoing leadership responsibilities. The specific deliverables, responsibilities, and measures should be established in the engagement’s scope.

How long does an engagement last?

Consulting projects typically run for 6–12 weeks. Coaching and Chief AI Office arrangements depend on the support needed. Contact us to discuss timing.

What does an engagement cost?

Contact us about the scope and current pricing. Prices shown for a particular program or past event should not be treated as prices for our core services.

Can ATLAS replace a conversation about our organization?

ATLAS provides a structured starting point. Its results can help focus a conversation, but an engagement still needs to account for the organization’s circumstances and goals.

How do we start?

Contact Fox + Spindle, take ATLAS, or explore the complimentary policy review on our Services page.
